En este breve relato voy a explicar mi experiencia con diferentes entidades de discapacidad física, sensorial o intelectual de diferentes puntos de España.

En primer lugar, me gustaría decir que no entiendo al 80% aproximadamente de las entidades, que están dirigidas por personas con ningún tipo de discapacidad y que aunque tengan familiares directos con algún tipo de discapacidad (algunos) nunca podrán saber como vive realmente la vida una persona con discapacidad ( pero como son tan sabios, hay que acatar su forma de ver la vida, lo que debes y no debes hacer, y cuáles son las cosas que de verdad les va bien a las personas con discapacidad ).

Y lo más increíble de todo, es que te juzgan, te critican, no ven bien lo que haces, ellos harían otras cosas y mejor.  Pero al final lo único que tú piensas es que ellos te están intentando fastidiar por todos los lados, pero tú sabes  que la labor que tú estás haciendo en diferentes puntos de la geografia, beneficiará al discapacitado, y eso es lo que vale.

Porque para el que no lo sepa, tener una gran invalidez como yo (ir en silla de ruedas, hablar mal y tener medio cuerpo paralizado) te complica mucho la existencia, y que otros sin ningún tipo de discapacidad te digan lo que está bien o lo que está mal, lo que le va bien a los discapacitados o lo que no, Que gracia me hacen !!.

Después de algunos años ya al frente de la Fundación, me fastidia mucho, que algunas personas ( incluido algún dirigente de alguna entidad ), te tomen como dejémoslo como soñador ( para no decir tonto, payaso, loco, chalado…….). Estamos aquí, porque así lo hemos decidido cada uno de nosotros, para beneficiar al colectivo al cual esta destinada nuestra entidad y muchas veces parece que lo importante sean los fondos que percibe la entidad, y las personas discapacitadas en este caso, pasan a un plano secundario.

Cuando en la Fundación pongo en marcha algún proyecto y antes de ello, lo hablo con el Patronato de la Fundación, o con otras personas involucradas en el proyecto, casí siempre sale la misma cuestión: » oye, que casí todo lo estás dando gratis»   Y yo contesto: » La Fundación está para beneficiar al discapacitado y todo lo que podamos hacer o dar  gratis  o a un coste mínimo mejor, la mala suerte es que no sea millonario y no pueda emplear en la causa mis propios fondos y esto dependa de otros.  Porque sino, todo sería muy fácil y diferente, entonces cuando quisiera hacer algo para el discapacitado lo haría y punto, no tendría que pedirle financiación a nadie, ya que seria con mis fondos.
